Minsk Talent Pool
Minsk is considered one of the major eastern European software development centers. The city has a population of 1.8M. It has 12 major technical and science universities and dozens of other schools that offer computer training. Minsk also is home to hundreds of outsourcing companies, including some of the largest in Eastern Europe.

Educational backgrounds
All Coherent developers and testers have at least a five-year university degree in applied mathematics, technology or computer sciences. Some have masters or PhDs.

Attrition Rate
Our overall attrition rate of less than 12% is low even by Western professional service industry standards.

Collaboration / Agile
Over half of our projects are conducted in an Agile development environment, and customers report these engagements are highly successful. There is a direct daily time overlap of 2-4 hours (depending on your time zone) during normal business hours providing a communication window for Minsk personnel to participate in daily meetings/scrums. In addition, our team members have extensive experience in working in team environments, and possess strong communication skills.

Language
All communications are done in English and Coherent employees in Minsk are able to communicate with customers by phone and email. Team leads are highly proficient English speakers and can communicate seamlessly with English-speaking customers. As part of its commitment to providing ongoing professional development, Coherent employs English teachers on staff and requires personnel to attend English classes as part of their training.
