Coherent Solutions announces its inclusion in Software Magazine’s Software 500, a ranking of the world’s largest software and service providers now in its 32nd year. Coherent Solutions was ranked number #418 with $20.92M in revenue for 2014 growing 23.1% over 2013 results.
The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world’s largest software and services suppliers, targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers, and business managers involved in software and services purchasing.
According to Software Magazine, the total software and software services revenue for the 2015 Software 500 ranking amounted to $748.7 billion, up 4.3 percent from last year. Another finding was that eBusiness applications, security tools/systems, and healthcare are top growth areas for Software 500 companies.
The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue from the 2014 fiscal year. This includes revenue from software licenses, maintenance and support, training, and software-related services, and consulting. Suppliers are not ranked on total corporate revenue, since many have other lines of business, such as hardware. Financial information is published in print as well as posted online at www.softwaremag.com as both a digital edition and searchable database.
