Test - Bringing AI-native engineering to a food delivery platform

Three Retention Signals
We analyzed session frequency, feature adoption, and churn events across 14 platforms over 24 months. Three signals predicted long-term retention with statistical reliability: completing three or more sessions in week one, adopting at least one social or community feature before day 7, and receiving a contextual — not scheduled — notification within 48 hours of the last session.
Platforms that engineered for all three retained 4.2x more users at 90 days than those that did not. None of the three required content investment. All three required product and engineering decisions made at the architecture stage.
