Project Description

The project focuses on refactoring Machine Readable Files (MRFs) and rebuilding the EZChoice application. Upon completion, developers may transition to contribute to the Datahub platform.

What You'll Do

  • Redesign and optimize existing ETL pipelines for MRFs and EZChoice
  • Write efficient Spark jobs and Python scripts to support scalable data processing
  • Build and monitor pipelines using Azure Data Factory
  • Transform and integrate data from various sources into Azure-based data stores
  • Write and maintain complex SQL scripts (DDL, DML) for analytics and reporting
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create technical documentation and user manuals
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and data validation
  • Analyze current system architecture and tools, and recommend improvements
  • Participate in CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps
  • Contribute to Power BI dashboard development for data visualization

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a BI Developer or Data Engineer
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory and other Microsoft Azure services
  • Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and complex SQL query development
  • Experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development and optimization
  • Experience with Power BI for reporting and dashboards
  • Experience with Spark, SparkSQL, and Python notebooks
  • Familiarity with .NET/C# is a plus
  • Comfortable working with Azure DevOps for version control, task tracking, and CI/CD
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Hive is an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • English level: B1+ (spoken and written)
