Company Background

The customer is a unique non-profit entity dedicated to revolutionizing and expediting the process of delivering new therapeutics to patients worldwide. Established in 2020 by a collaboration of prominent pharmaceutical companies, this entity is creating a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that will fundamentally reshape the collaboration between industry and health authorities. The goal is to facilitate the efficient and timely delivery of safe and effective treatments to a broader population.

Project Description

The task is to be part of the DevOps team as we work towards full automation of CI/CD pipelines, in support of the client's platform. The DevOps team deploys product updates and creates and maintains cloud infrastructure, as well as access to, and management of third-party applications, all through automation in multiple environments. As a secure, global, multi-tenant platform that provides access to highly sensitive and confidential data, the DevOps team is highly versed in secure cloud architectures. Accordingly, the DevOps team works in close collaboration with our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to ensure compliance with all pertinent regulatory requirements, like FedRAMP and ISO 27001. DevOps Engineers are software engineers with deep expertise in Cloud-First design, cloud operations, cloud security and automation of Cloud SAAS applications and infrastructure.
