Project Description

The project centers around building and scaling integrations between the client’s core platform and various third-party vendors, including airline data sources and payment processors. The goal is to enable smooth data exchange and transaction execution in real time.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain high-performance microservices in Go and Python;
• Integrate external APIs and services for airline data and payment execution;
• Participate in the design and implementation of distributed systems using GCP components;
• Write clear, testable, and maintainable code following best practices;
• Ensure system stability and performance as part of a 24/7 support rotation;
• Collaborate closely with third-party vendors and client-side stakeholders to clarify requirements and propose solutions;
• Contribute to infrastructure as code using Terraform;
• Attend daily stand-ups and communicate status clearly and effectively;

Job Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience;
• 5+ years working with Go and Python in a production environment;
• Experienced in GCP tooling (Dataflow, BiqQuery, PubSub etc.);
• Experienced with microservices implementation and RESTful APIs;
• Experienced with the Kafka, PubSub, and other similar tools;
• Knowledge about the databases like PostgreSQL and Spanner;
• Experienced in creating designs for new feature implementation;
• Understanding of microservices architecture, including independent scaling, caching, and database handling;
• Experienced in integrating with a 3rd party system is a huge plus;
• Experience in customer-facing is a plus;
• Level of English - from B2;
• Ability to work at least till 6pm in GMT+1 time zone;
• Willingness and ability to participate in a 24/7 support schedule;
