Project Description

The project involves a production system for managing clients and the life insurance programs in which they are enrolled. The specialist will support the existing system and contribute to the development of new features.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with a team of three engineers working with Databricks to support the quality of data engineering solutions;
  • Design and execute manual and automated tests for system functionality and data workflows;
  • Develop and maintain automated tests using Python and test automation frameworks;
  • Validate data and system behavior using SQL, databases, and API testing;
  • Perform scheduled regression testing and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines;
  • Document test results, report defects, and communicate findings to the team;

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in QA Automation;
  • Strong understanding of manual QA methods and testing practices, including regression testing;
  • Hands-on experience with test automation using Python and automation frameworks;
  • Proficiency in SQL, databases, and data validation;
  • Experience testing APIs;
  • Experience in data engineering workflows in Databricks, including Databricks Genie;
  • Experience working with containerized environments;
  • Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans, scheduled regression testing, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines;
  • Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory is a plus;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
  • English proficiency at B1+ level or higher;

Compensation may vary depending on the hiring location and relevant experience. Compensation for other hiring locations will be discussed during the recruitment process.
